Diabetes, Kidney Function & Liver Function Test – 6 Test Strips Total
Diabetes Test
This test is designed to detect glucose and ketone levels in urine samples as an aid in diagnosing diabetes. The result is shown visually using a color chart printed on the product. Each color indicates specific concentrations of glucose and ketones (see below).
Common diabetes symptoms can be vague, making it difficult to detect without testing. Our simple home test can identify imbalances early and help guide you to seek medical care if necessary.
Contents: 2 sealed foil bags, each containing 1 test strip and instructions. Made in Europe. CE marked.
Kidney Function Test
Checks for Creatinine, Protein, and Specific Gravity in urine to aid in the diagnosis of kidney disorders.
- Creatinine is a waste product of muscle metabolism filtered by the kidneys. Levels reflect muscle mass and kidney function.
- Protein in urine may indicate impaired kidney filtration.
- Specific Gravity measures urine concentration. Elevated values may suggest kidney failure or reduced renal blood flow.
Liver Function Test
Checks bilirubin and urobilinogen in urine to help detect liver and gallbladder problems.
Elevated bilirubin may indicate liver disease, bile duct obstruction, or hemolysis (increased breakdown of red blood cells).
Possible causes include hepatitis, alcohol abuse, gallstones, tumors, or severe illness. Certain medications may also affect bilirubin levels.
How to use:
Open the foil pouch and remove the test strip.
Urinate into a cup and dip the strip into the urine.
Read the result after approx. 1 minute by comparing the colors on the strip with the color chart. Hold the strip horizontally to avoid color mixing.
