ETG (alcohol) urine
€4.94
A reliable drug test that detects traces of ETG (alcohol) in urine with a cut-off of 500 ng/ml.
This is a rapid test to detect Ethyl Glucuronide (ETG) in urine, which is a breakdown product of alcohol. ETG is a highly sensitive biomarker for detecting alcohol consumption and can detect intake up to 80 hours after use, depending on the amount and the individual’s metabolism.
How is the test done?
-
Preparation:
-
Bring the test, urine sample and any control fluid to room temperature (15-30°C).
-
Open the package just before use.
-
-
Sample collection:
-
Collect urine in a clean container. The test can be performed at any time of the day.
-
If urine is cloudy, allow particles to settle or filter for a clear sample.
-
-
Procedure:
-
Dip the test stick vertically into the urine sample for 10-15 seconds.
-
Make sure not to dip the stick too deeply (not above the MAX line).
-
Place the dipstick on a flat, non-absorbent surface.
-
Read the result after 5 minutes but not after 10 minutes.
-
Interpretation of results
✔️ Negative result:
Two colored lines appear – one in the control area (C) and one in the test area (T).
The → ETG level is below 500 ng/mL.
❌ Positive result:
Only one line in the control area (C), no line in the test area (T).
→ ETG level is above 500 ng/mL indicating alcohol consumption in the last 24 hours.
⚠️ Invalid result:
No line in the control area (C). The test has failed and must be repeated with a new stick.
Note: Even weak test lines count as negative.
