Ulcer Test

Our Ulcer Test is a CE-marked rapid test for the detection of H. pylori in stool.

Pain and discomfort in the upper abdomen are fairly common. One in four people experiences such symptoms at some point in their life. A common cause of this is an ulcer, most often caused by the presence of the bacterium Helicobacter pylori.

A simple ulcer test can help ease your concern—or give you a reason to seek further medical advice. You get results within 10 minutes.

How to use:

1. Use the stool collector on any toilet to avoid contamination of the sample. Collect the stool sample in the collector.
2. Unscrew the cap of the sample collection tube and randomly insert the sample stick into the stool in at least three different spots. Do not scoop the sample. Screw the cap back on tightly. Shake the collection tube thoroughly to mix the sample with the extraction buffer.
3. Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch and use it as soon as possible. For best results, use immediately after opening.
4. Hold the tube upright and open the dropper cap. Turn the tube upside down and add 2 full drops to the test cassette (S), then start the timer.
5. Read the result after 10 minutes. Do not read after 20 minutes.
